Quality Policy

The overall objective of the Directors of RSS Security Services Limited is to provide clients with a quality of service which gives them no cause for complaint, thereby making our Company the natural first choice for potential as well as existing clients. In order to achieve this, we are committed to providing a quality of service to all of our clients which meets not only their specified requirements but also their implied expectations. We are confident that in doing so we enhance the security of their premises, thereby adding value to their business.

We aim to achieve the above by implementing a quality management system that complies with the international standard ISO 9001 and also with those British Standards relevant to the manned security industry and our activities, BS 7960 and BS 7984. The scope of our QMS is “The provision of Door Supervision services in accordance with the requirements of BS 7960 and BS 7858”.

We are committed to compliance with the requirements of our QMS, which includes measures that have been devised to ensure a continual improvement in the quality of the service we provide to our clients. In order to ensure the continued effectiveness of our Quality Management System it is reviewed at defined intervals and in accordance with a documented Procedure. We establish quantifiable quality objectives so that by gathering and analysing data relevant to those objectives we are able to demonstrate the extent of the improvement in our service to clients.

All personnel within the company are responsible for the quality of their work. We provide training and have established systems to assist all personnel to achieve the standards required. While we endeavour consistently to meet our customers’ expectations, we have to recognise that we don’t always achieve our own standards. If our customers raise any issues with us, we will respond immediately and will do our best to rectify the situation and to learn from it.

The policy, organisation and procedures necessary to achieve the requirements are described in our Quality Management System. Quality objectives of the company are agreed annually at Management Review meetings and reviewed for effectiveness. At these meetings we ensure that this policy and the quality objectives remain compatible with the strategic direction and the purpose and context of our organization.

Our Quality Manager is responsible for monitoring the quality system and reports regularly to the MD team on the system's implementation, status and effectiveness.
